Leann joined our Staff July 1st of 2009.
She says, "I am excited about being able to care for the students through learning and teaching. I value being able to help them grow in Christ, not just through music but through prayer and teachable moments."
Leann's personal mission statement is "to love and serve Jesus as he calls and leads." She lives this out through a deep commitment to love, serve and care for others.
She believes that the church should not limit itself on who we should reach and serve. Everyone should have the chance to experience the love of Jesus, whether a new believer or somebody who has been a believer for a long time.
Leann has been a choir teacher at the middle school level, taught band students in a small group setting, worked at the Park Street Preschool as an administrative assistant, and enjoyed caring for students ranging in ages from 2 1/2 to school age. She has been a handbell ringer since her elementary school days. With her husband she has been an active leader in several church youth groups.
Leann is married to Todd and together they have two children Andra and Isaik.
She enjoys doing arts and crafts, music, home schooling, spending time with her family, gardening (just recently!) and laughing. She says that she also enjoys cooking and baking, but we suspect that her family and friends enjoy it just as much as she does.
