Jared joined our staff on August of 2007.
Previously, he was a youth leader at Rosemont Alliance Church from January 2006 to July of 2007. Before coming to Ashland, he was a police officer in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Currently he is a student at Ashland Theological Seminary and recipient of the Kern Foundation Scholarship.
He writes that the thing he values most about serving at Christ UMC is building relationships and ministering to the teens of our church family and those of the Ashland County Area. "I believe the teenage and young adult years are pivotal years in a person's life. If we as the church can show these people the value of having a relationship with Jesus Christ it will influence all other generations of people."
Jared lives with his wife, Meredith, and dog, Harmony.
He enjoys running marathons, reading, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and coaching track and cross country.
