Barb, who has been a member of CUMC since 2000, joined our staff in March of 2008.

She brings to our staff 17 years of secretarial experience in various offices ( Samaritan Hospital, Ash Co Family & Children First Council, Hospice, Tri-County ESC) with 9 yrs being in a church office setting. Served at Jeromesville UMC for 5 ½ years as office secretary and as an assistant secretary at Wooster UMC for 3 ½ years before coming to Christ UMC.

Her personal mission statement is to deepen my relationship with God, knowing who he is so that I am easily able to recognize how he is a part of all life circumstances and experiences and sharing that with others.  She particularly enjoys being able to use her office skills to contribute to the work of her church.

Barb says she loves sharing Christ with those who want to know and grow in the love of God. Especially the young children who are depending on the older generations to share their knowledge of God and his grace.

Barb is married to Keith and together their family includes 5 daughters, Angie, Rebecca, Sarah, Carla & Jenna, with their spouses and 6 grandchildren (4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters).   She especially enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks, being outdoors, reading, sewing, playing piano & organ, listening to a variety of music, finding bargains, and vacationing at the Michigan Sand Dunes
